Teak & Holly

Our Teak & Holly marine plywood is a beautiful marine panel commonly used for cabin soles.  Teak & Holly marine plywood has medium density and is highly rot and mildew resistant.  Teak & Holly uses a tropical hardwood for its core veneers, constructed with a waterproof glue.  Due to the natural oils and silica found in teak, it can clog sand paper and dull edged tools.  Using a carbide tipped blade will gain your best results.

Teak & Holly is recommended for structural and interior components, such as; finished cabin soles, cabinetry and hatches, where it will be highly visible upon completion.  We have had clients who have made beautiful furniture with this product, as well.  Teak & Holly can be finished with traditional oil or varnish for a desirable “bright” appearance.
